You should know there are no precautionary measures that can be taken against swine flu.
There is no vaccine available right now to combat swine flu, but there are everyday measures that can help prevent the spread of germs causing respiratory illnesses like influenza, such as hand-washing with alchohol-based hand cleaners — especially after coughing or sneezing — and avoiding close contact with sick people.

You should know it’s safe to eat pork products.
WHO says properly handled and prepared pork products are safe to eat. The swine flu virus dies when cooked at temperatures of 160 F/70 C or higher.
