Is there something in my eye, and if so, how do I get it out?

About thirty minutes ago, I felt some pressure coming from my left eye. My left eye then began to tear up for a bit, but then it stopped. Although the pressure in my left eye is now gone, it feels like there is something in my left eye. (I cannot pick out exactly where it is.) Do you think that there is something in my left eye? If so, how should I get it out? I already tried blinking, pulling my upper eyelid over my lower eyelid, and just a bit of eye washing (about ten or fifteen seconds of eye washing).

If there’s something in your eye, it will eventually come out. It doesn’t make sense for you to go looking for it using all the methods you’ve tried, as you’re only going to irritate it further.
It’s also possible that whatever you’re looking for is already out, but your eye is just irritated.
If you have artificial tears or lubricating drops, use it. If not, just leave it alone.
